COMMUNITY DERMATOLOGY SERVICE
The Community Dermatology Service manages a broad range of dermatological conditions and strengthens the dermatology offering in Lewisham by providing a specialist led intermediary service. The Service plays a key role in improving patient experience and outcomes as well as providing a link between primary and secondary care.
DERMATOLOGY
MINOR SURGERY CLINIC
This service specialises in performing minor surgical procedures for a range of dermatological conditions such as excision with primary closure, curettage and cautery, shave excision and punch biopsy. Delivered in a sterile and safe environment, these minor surgeries carried out under local anaesthesia. Any samples taken are then sent to Lewisham Hospital for testing.
The clinic, located at Marvels Lane, runs twice a week:
